PERSONAL: Born Feb. 4, 2001… son of Barb and John Beck… choose Western because he likes the feel of the town and similar to where he grew up… most memorable sports moment was winning the Conference Championship… father is his biggest influence in sports since “he has always pushed me to have a strong work ethic and to be smart on and off the field.”… hobbies include fishing and playing basketball.

2022: Beck, an Illinois resident, is an imposing 6’8 Left Handed Pitcher. Has 7 Strikeouts in 7 2/3 Innings Pitched for the Western Illinois University Leathernecks this Spring. Will look to log key innings for the NightOwls this summer.
