The Nanaimo NightOwls have never opened at home before. They’ve also never faced the Walla Walla Sweets — both those things will happen when the ‘Owls start their second season in the West Coast League in June.

.
The NightOwls, who finished with five-straight wins to cap their inaugural WCL season, just 4.5 games out of a playoff spot, will open league play Friday, June 2 at historic Serauxmen Stadium — which will have even more new improvements added for the summer of 2023.
.
“We think the fans will like this schedule, it’s more varied and spread out than what we had last summer,” said GM Jim Swanson. “It’s a travel-friendly schedule for our coaches and players, with a six-game homestand to end the home dates. We’re excited to get to work on filling the stands and coming up with great reasons to come to the park, aside from the high-calibre baseball our fans enjoyed in 2022.”
.
Special dates and details on additional non-league games, adding value for partners and ticket holders, will be announced in the new year. The main grandstand is filling up with season tickets, and more upgrades are in the works — PA system, more seating, and enhanced food and beverage offerings.

    Hello,
I bought a flex pack last year. My wife and I attended opening night and we enjoyed ourselves as we expected we would. It was well worth the trip down from Black Creek Campbell River). Three days later she tested positive for Covid and our summer fell apart. We never returned to the ballpark. Are the tickets that I have left now void?
    Thanks,
    MH
